Michael:
I spent the first six years of my life on the field of Japan. My father and grandfather were both missionaries to Japan. I was saved at the age of six through the witness of my brother and my father. I surrendered to serve God full time after my junior year of high school. I attended BIble college from 1995-1999. After graduation, I served an internship at Twin City Baptist Temple in Lunenburg, MA. After raising our support, we arrived in Japan to complete a one year internship at the Kitakyushu Bible Baptist Church. After spending 10 months on furlough in the States, we arrived back in Japan on March 23, 2005 to begin a new independent Baptist church in the the southern suburbs of Fukuoka City.
Rebecca:
I had the privilege of being raised in a Christian home in Massachusetts by a father and mother who taught me through their example what it was to serve our Lord. It was there influence on my life that led me to have a desire to also want to serve our Lord. At the age of 16 I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. In the fall of 1995, I entered Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, where I completed three years. I received my degree from Louisiana Baptist Univerisity in May of 2002. In the summer of 1996 God placed a burden in my heart to be a missionary. The Lord has called my husband and I to reach the people of Japan with the gospel. Our desire is to see the Japanese people come to know Christ and become dedicated servants for Him.
